The body is never without action... so we must choose and develop the actions we make... while further understanding the language of action.

AREUMNARI EE was born in 1986, Incheon, South Korea. She majored in Communication Design in Konkuk University in Seoul. She was a member of independent graphic design studio ‘Love and Peace Market’ (www.loveandpeacemarket.com) in Seoul from 2009 to 2011, and then worked at ‘KoPAS’ (Korea Performance Art Spirit) as a designer while also doing freelancer design. Later she assisted ‘FLOW2013’, Performance Art and Media Festival in Seoul, and participated in a various events and festivals. Currently she is staying in Buenos Aires and also gradually expanding her work into other media such as video, panting, performance, etc.
Her works follow the context of unexpected things rather than planned. Small fragments unconsciously become a big picture. She loves free style expressions which are accidental but also inevitable, or the things approaching that boundary. The action and notion that breaks from expectations continually gives her energy since it is alive and fades away simultaneously. She is so captivated by the large painting that builds from small parts and those little fragments in it. Her work is now widening from flat to solid, and even further to multi-dimensional structures.

ERIC SCOTT NELSON (b. USA) has been based in Seoul, South Korea since 2007. His work, from concept to action, is developed in a very short time after first being in the space where the action will occur. The work is challenging, often with physical risk. Without any rehearsal, the action is figured out and mastered during the process of repetition.
“The body is never without action... so we must choose and develop the actions we make... while further understanding the language of action.”
He has made actions internationally at OPEN festival and GUANGZHOU LIVE in China, ASIATOPIA in Thailand, RITES in Singapore, EPAF in Poland, TAMA in Philippines, BUKA JALAN in Malaysia, IN MOTION in Japan, and numerous festivals in South Korea where he also organizes Golmok Performance Art Festival, SPEAK, FLOW Performance Art and Media Festival, and Performance Art In Subway Cars (P.A.I.S.C.)
